Swastika marked Alligator
This old alligator wrench is probably made by Buffum Tool of Louisiana, Missouri, the only maker to use the swatika. Buffum predates Nazi Germany and there is no connection to Hitler. The wrench is a bit rust pitted and has a lot of wear on the teeth. Marked only with the swastika and "drop forged", and very faint size markings on the dies. 8" long.

Hawkeye Alligator wrench
This Hawkeye alligator wrench by The Hawkeye wrench Co. of Marshalltown, Iowa is in very good condition with slight wear on the teeth and clean thread chasers. The wrench has a nice patina and some signs of rust pitting8 1/2" long with almost no hammer marks on it. Patent# 720554, 8" long.

Mossberg 715D Alligator combination wrench
This 5 3/4" wrench is from one of Mossberg's well known tool sets 1910 to 1930. Alligator jaw is 3/4" at the widest, and the open end is 1/2". Open end has some distortion, but the alligator end is near perfect. Marked "715D" with two "Diamond M" markings.

Roebling #2 Alligator Wrench
This J.A. Roebling ( of Brooklyn Bridge fame) #2 Bulldog style is the same as the Whitman and Barnes Bulldog wrench, except the teeth are angled for a better grip. The teeth on this rusty and slightly pitted wrench are intact, and the wrench has not been hammered. Made in Trenton, New Jersey.

Roebling Twin Alligator Wrench
This J. A. roebling (of Brooklyn Bridge fame)is 10" long, has a slight rust on it, and some deterioration of the angled teeth from use or rust. It is marked "Tin Alligator Wrench on one side and MF"D by Roebling Trnton N.J. on the other. Also marked 1 and 2 on the ends. There is also the Roebling JAR in a circle, circled by REG. US PAT. OFF.
