Coming home from a doctor appointment today, I spied a BIG wrench beside the road.
I pulled in to this small auto repair shop and asked permission to shoot pictures of his sign. In doing so, I met Chris Bryan of goodoleboysautomotive@live.com . Chris was interested in why I was curious about the sign and we had a short talk about tools. I showed him my tool roll of H D Smith Perfect Handle tools and PHakes.

The box end is 12-point.

Looks like a Cornwell 310mm combo with zero offset. I'd like to see the toolbox that came out of!
-
Some one did a nice job making that one. Heck with the tool box I want to see what it would be used on and the guy using it.

What is the wrench made of ? Wood, fibreglas or sheet metal ?

Wood, sheet metal, and diamond plate.

Cool.
What's the nature of that odd building behind the sign? Looks like a lighthouse..!?
-
That is a replica of a lighthouse and is the office of a real estate company.

Will they sell that wrench?
I would surely donate some funds for Papaw to go buy it and move it to his shop as a Tool Talk ID and logo.
It really belongs at the headquarters of Tool Talk.

I doubt he would sell it, but given the short life of small auto shops, I'll be watching in case.
