This past Wednesday, Bus emailed me asking if I would compile a PDF from multiple files sent to him by benjy some time ago...
The problem was that the Subject of that email was "King Dick Catalog" and I have very strong email filters; pretty much no emails with "dick" in the subject make it to my Inbox! Consequently, I did not discover Bus' email in my Spam folder until Friday, when I told him I'd be only too happy to compile & post this most interesting resource.
I tried to reduce the size of the original scans, but was unhappy with the results as I thought the clarity of the text was too compromised, so, unfortunately, the file is quite large at 30.22MB. Such is life.
The only question that now remains is if Bus can advise me how to increase my six-inch spanner to a ten-incher. Hahaha!
The 1947 King Dick Catalogue can be downloaded here:

Thanks, Benjy, Bus, and LB!!!

Thank you for that scan, it came across the Pacific just fine.
What are the actual dimenions of the original catalogue?
I have a 5th ed? it measures 7" x 4 3/4" and is 72 pages. I believe it's prewar and it seems a contains a lot more stuff! Or may they couldn't get enough paper to have more pictures and product decriptions!

Graeme, benjy will have to answer that as I was just sent the individual scans, but I'd guess it measured around 7 3/4" X 10".
EDIT: benjy beat me to it!
There was no date provided with the scans, but the cover matched a JPG already in my files that was from 1947 and the Price List info (p.3 of the PDF) seems to confirm 1947...

...smallest 3 inches...
As a child, I was given one of those small bicycle wrenches by my father.
It was still kicking around under 10 years ago, but when I went looking for it when I visited my Mom last it could no longer be found...

Thanks guys, very nice catalog. This is the first time I have seen the small bicycle/hand wrench in an actual catalog...

LG,
Thanks for spooling up the Kind Dick catalog and making it available. I just spent about an hour browsing it.
One thing caught my eye. King Dick offered Perfect Handle pattern screwdrivers. So add King Dick to the list of companies that made or branded the perfect handle drivers.
