Title: Speed Way-type 69 drill motor

Speaking of Speed Way, I found another one. This one says it is a type-69, Cicero, Ill., and is 115 volt, AC/DC, and has the keyless chuck. It appears it was used as a paint mixer in recent times. I have not researched it yet, but I'm guessing it is 1950-1960ish vintage? It has a 2 wire plug, runs like a top, but the button switch is gone, and it has been direct wired. Anyone have one, or additional info. on it?

Edit: I just found one in a 1947 Popular Mechanics advertisement, so I was off on the time frame. I should have looked at rusty's timeline sheet as well, but I forgot, so I will do that now. Yes, he has it in the 1948 combo kit!

Also, it is blue, so it is from the Blueline tools era, when they painted everything blue for some strange reason known only to droid marketing types...

Very nice, now you just need to start collecting all the drill powered things it fits into - P
