Title: Buffalo Forge info wanted
Post by: Twilight Fenrir on November 13, 2015, 02:06:37 PM
Hello there,

I picked up a new forge the other day, and am hoping to find some information on it, but I can't seem to find any like it. It is a Buffalo forge, about twice the size of the average 'rivet forge', but still small enough to be portable. The blower on it has obviously been replaced, or serviced seperately, and the lever mount has been repaired... But the mechanicals with the ratcheting pawl appears to be original, and unlike any I've seen before. There are holes around the rim of the firepot, where I've been told there was an apron originally, and I was hoping someone might be able to wranlge up a catalog picture of this new so I could get an idea what it looked like...

The only markinga on it I've found so far are the great big "Buffalo Forge"  cast into the firepot with big bison underneath it...
