Title: IHC irregularities
Post by: jimwrench on April 27, 2016, 10:11:08 AM
Assume this horizontal I means nothing but thought it was interesting. Bought a handful of wrenchs to get a G3170 hoping it was one I didn't have. Turns out the G3170 was a Type44 of which I already had 2. This 12335D was in lot and I thought the - between the 12335 and the D was interesting. The other 12335D has a simple dash and another one has no dash. Didn't find any reference to this in Gils books.
Anyone have any suggestions as to whether this has any meaning or just a pattern makers quirk ?
Also got a Mossberg 207 Tappet wrench in lot which was worth what I paid.

That sure does look like an I laying on its side. Maybe someone had bad eyes.
IHC has some strange stuff going on anyhow. I brought home a wrench that I thought I didn't have but I already had one but the logo's were different sizes. I kind of like the different variants makes it exciting.
