Todays yard sale score, the Indian monkey wrench is nice, as well as the Diamalloy Handyboy and non-Los Angeles Proto 5249 ratchet. But The Lane Iron Works open end is stumping me. There was a Will B. Lane Co back in the teens making sockets and ratchets, but this isn't that old. I searched this site and someone found one back in 2015 but no one seemed to know anything about them back then. So I'm casting out the net looking for knowledge... anyone hear of Lane Iron Works?

Great finds! I would have gone home after finding the Handyboy or the Indian Adjustable.

Lane Iron Works, Brooklyn NY, 1920 to late 40's? Toolarchives shows the exact same 3/4 x 11/16 wrench I have, but not much else seems to be known at the moment. As they say, research continues! Another odd ball for my collection.

Like anything Indian. You did well.
