Title: 1267 wrench
Post by: jimwrench on November 04, 2011, 01:06:57 PM
Heres a wrench I need a little help with. Its one of those well marked wrenchs you think you can take home and look up and quickly ID.
Its about 13 inchs long and 1/2 thick on large end. Openings are 1 3/8 and 1 1/2. Some weld repair on large end but don't think size was changed as original size still intact at back of opening. Could be two letters or numbers to left of 1267 but not legible and looks like a 1 to right of 1267(not part of part number). Paint looks original and no burning where I  thought weld repair was so maybe it was just some grinding on original wrench. Anyone recognize him ?

I'm guessing the one end has been resized smaller because the V at the back of the jaw opening isn't centered. I think it was a larger sized wrench at one time.

Think you are right Lew, probably started out as 2 inch on that end.
