( http://www.auctionspecialists.com/july_14.htm ) Aug. 11th auction at Newton, KS -- I see no provision for absentee bidding. The auctioneer's calendar has another sale listed for Sept. 3rd, with no further details at this point.
The link posted above does not work -- try ( http://www.auctionspecialists.com/calendar.htm ) and select the Aug. 11 listing.

Broke for me too, although a couple of the other ones opened, the two with tools would not.

I emailed the auction house they responded twice, first time to say that they would look into the problem and the second time to say it is fixed. I haven't tried again. They also said they will take absentee bids. Contact them for details on leaving bids.

I got the auction announcement in snail mail today.
Try http://www.auctionspecialists.com (http://www.auctionspecialists.com) and click on upcoming auctions- then auction for August 11.

Thanks pawpaw, that works.

You know it is a good auction when they have Plierenches in the mix. Some huge alligator wrenches hanging from the rafter.
-
Looks like a good saw, and I am only 2+ hours away.
Just send me a pile of money, and I will buy you something pretty.

It does look like a good auction. I would love to put in some absentee bids, but I have been spoiled by Bus' tool descriptions and pictures for the auctions at the Spring and Fall MVWC meets. I guess I'll save my money for October...
