Title: Craftsman 1/4" drive socket set & deep 1/2" sockets all -v-
Post by: coolford on May 13, 2019, 06:15:56 PM
Picked these up at auction on Saturday, raining and cold not many bidders paid $37.50 for both lots.  The socket set is 40 pieces and all are -v- except one short socket which is proto.  Note the short extensions are under the long extension.  The deep socket set is also -v- and runs from 1/2" through 1 1/8" and also includes a 25/32.  The last socket was in the lot and is 1 1/4" and is a cornwell.  As you can see, the condition is fine---nothing has been cleaned.

Ya looks like you made out pretty good. Wonder what sort of fastener has a 25/32 head on it?

Someone knew that a few 3/4 nuts would get dinged up and so they were prepared.

I believe some of those 32nds size wrenches were used on bicycle nuts and bolts when I was rebuilding a lot of bikes back in the 70's and 80's.
