Title: Sure Looks Old. From New England. Wrench Display?
Post by: Monsonmotors on November 01, 2019, 03:02:57 PM
Hi, I’m new.
I paid up for this 35” x 51” wooden tool display. I think it’s my best antique possession if you consider how many survived.
My theory is that it was factory made for a tool company to sell and advertise in a store.
The screws for the nameplate are there but no nameplate.
Cast iron hooks. Old open ended wrenches fit best. Outlines, shadows, smudges on the wood look like open wrench ends.
I’d sure appreciate any information or even educated guesses.

Definitely sounds right. Looks like big wrenches on the right rack. Would have sure looked nice with paint and chrome. Call the American pickers on that lol
