I have the Walden lubrication set and had never seen a Hinsdale set so bought this one on e-bay. Checked alloy artifacts and he does not list it. Anyone have a catalog so I might know what is supposed to be in it. Sockets are the old type, but they are all chrome plated.

This should get you in the ball park. 1931 catalog listing.

Bill300d-----Bill you are a big help, that is just what I needed. Apparently only missing a hex socket and the tee handle. I do have both items somewhere.

I love that the set's got the "well known Tee and L handle." Not one of those obscure T&L handles, but the well known kind. It is a clever design.

T-L handle = patent # 1,597,747 [ http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=1597747&typeCode=0 ].

Here is an update on the Hinsdale lubrication socket set. I had the required sockets to fill out the set as well as the T-L handle that is the required drive tool. I also added a couple of hex sockets in sizes that were not listed (fills out the set).

Very cool.
I'm a Hinsdale junkie. Love their stuff, but I don't know that I can explain why.
