Title: Tool Thrift Shop in Fairport NY
Post by: amecks on August 01, 2020, 06:22:27 AM
A long drive but since I'm starting a new job next week, I figured I bet get over there and check it out.  Well organized shop with very fair prices.  The combo square long ruler and bit holder extension are from another thrift shop I passed on the way home.
Impact driver is as new with bits, instructions and driver was still in plastic bag. Soapstone holder with unused soapstone.  Bit extension with two bit to show the style bit it holds.  16" combo square ruler.  Bonney Streamline long 3/8", Vlchek and Billings thin wrenches, and a neat little Whitworth wrench.  Can anyone ID the maker?  There is a mark with an "M" in an oval. (Sorry no photo handy).

I've never seen a 16" combo square rule.  18", yes; 24".  But 16" seems like an odd one, unless it's a carpenter's rule, designed for one of the standard stud spacings?

Those Whitworth bolts and screws can be a bugger to get loose.
