Started out with an old rusty $2 W & B adjustable; after several hours of sanding, I now have a shiny $2 wrench. Haven't waxed it yet as I don't know when its shiny enough. Kind of a soothing way to pass a little time and I didn't ruin anything of great value. I also didn't improve its value. Oh well.

It's purty tho :)
For some reason I am always surprised you can get that much shine out of carbon steel....
Did you just sand it? Or buff it as well?

NO BUFFING. Used a 1 inch belt sander with a old belt.

Super job Jim!!
Blam!
Did you take it apart?

Yes I broke it down before sanding. Just fooling around. If I ever do it again, I'll give it a vinegar bath for a week first. Took this one from the wild and it had some pretty deep dings. Still is'nt done but I'm going to give it a couple of weeks rest.
