Title: IHC crank handle ?
Post by: jimwrench on July 09, 2011, 03:25:00 PM
Can anyone help me identify IHC handle, crank or whatever. Marked A1646 (A is above 1646 so could be 1646A). Don,t find in Irps or IHC Seeding Equip,IHc Grain Harvesting Equip,or IHC Hay Machines catalogs. These old catalogs are available to anyone needing help Iding IHC parts or wrenchs.

There's a GA 1646 crank that repaces the G 1646 that is a starting crank used for the Titan engines. I've got pictures of them in Gill Irps IHC list. I'm thinking your G is missing, could be another variation of that crank.

Thanks Bear. Believe you are right. Sure looks like the Titan engine crank in Gil's book. The (A) is so close to the edge of the casting that the (G)  would have ended up in space. I'll call it a GA1646 until proven wrong.
