Title: Texas panhandle Proto fan
Post by: Tx308 on August 14, 2013, 08:25:21 PM
Hello all. Just discovered this forum recently and look forward to spending time here learning. I'm not really a collector but have a definite appreciation for quality American made tools. My first set of wrenches was a set of Proto Professionals that I still own, although over the years two of them have gone awol.
I did come across an old mechanic who literally had crates full of hand tools. The best part of it is he is allowing me to sort through the crates and pull out all I want for extremely reasonable prices so maybe I can swap my way into complete sets.
Have a great day.

Hi Tracy, welcome from Florida.  This is a great site!  Inhabited by a very helpful bunch of folks.

You'll feel at home...lots of Texans on here.
