Title: Deere R50 cast iron cutout toolbox

I found this today and an Arkansas antique store. I've been looking for 5 years for one. At $42 I think I got a great deal :). These came with the first Deere sulky plows around 1870. Right around the time they were making the plows with Gilpin I believe

Great piece Carl. That looks like it belongs at the top of a Deere tool display board.

Especially one here in NY. The mid-west doesn't bleed green like we do out here in the east...lol

One sold on ebay last year. You can add a zero to the end of what I paid plus some if your curious how much it brought.
