Mine is marked per my wrench list.

127   Adjustable Wrench, Center Wheel Adjusting Style, J. C. Speirs & Co, Drop Forged, Central Cycle Mfg Co Indianapolis IND, (Central Cycle in business 1892 – 1898) Patent March 26, 1895, Patent #536,301, J. C. Speirs Worchester MA, 4 ¾ Inches Long, Schulz #106

So I guess they sold them to different bicycle manufactures.

Walden-Worcester sockets brought me to this forum and now I see these. I've lived just outside Worcester for 15 years and I'm wondering if there's something about the city I never knew!

I apologize for not relating when this Speirs arrived in the mail. I have been laid up for the last week.

This Speirs appears to be early production, marked Patent Pending.
The patent is dated March 26th., 1895.
