Gas station equipment
« on: August 24, 2014, 10:24:29 PM »
Spied these oil dispenser tanks in the iron pile at yesterdays auction.  No one bid against me and got them both for the money.   Been outside for years, but not too rough.  No rust inside, no obvious leaks, and both pumps work fine, glass tubes on the pumps.   Probably hold 50 gallons of oil.  I know of one gas station that still has these in use.  Have already put in my word for them if he pulls them out.  Won't take up too much room, right?   Was ten dollars too much to spend?

Way to go!  I think that was a fair price. I think with a little elbow grease you will have some nice display pieces.
