MAN, THAT TOOL BOX IS THE BOMB!!!!!!  I'm no expert, but if you start it off at .99 on ebay, you'll get instant bidders and find out what it's really worth.  Me, I'd be hanging on to that set.  I'd sell the dog before I  sold that tool set

You need to read this thread. In other words, put a price on your item. This section is for selling, buying, trading. Not to value your tools for you. I'm sure there are members that would like to have your set pictured, but you need to set a price.

There are many ways to research values of sets like this. Put in the time, find a value, and list it here for the members to purchase.

Do plenty of research! That tool box with the contents is very desirable! Some have sold quite high on Ebay and elsewhere. One of those in much worse condition than yours went for $1600 on ebay last year and another went for $900.

hmt-kent,

I believe what you have there is the Holy Grail of collector tools.  If it were mine, I would never consider selling it.  I would instead build a shrine for it in my house and install a good security system. But hey, that's just me....

There's one on ebay right now.

That's not "one"; it's this one! Apparently, the OP has listed it on eBay...

The zero Feedback seller status could kill him getting what the set is worth.  Best of luck in selling regardless!!!  May not be many players that wanna stat at $790 either, but I've been wrong before!!!  Still, that's about as cool a tool set as I have ever seen.  I'd love to try and check it as carry on on my next plane ride.....

Quote....At least he didn't get too greedy.....it has FREE SHIPPING!! LOL.......aint that the truth, how many times I wanted to ask e-pay sellers are you kidding me!
I would give you 35 dollars for it but thats only because I really would like to have it and display it, I just dont see anything more than that, no offense is intended.

I dont know what OP means but I just looked and noticed that is the same set with the same piece of cardboard under it, I guess my 35 bucks isnt going to buy it then. :(

I dont know what OP means...

"Original poster" (in this thread)...

A guy on GJ scored a gorgeous set for $200 a few months back. I'd have grabbed it for that in a heartbeat.

Believe it or not 1930, that set will sell for $790+; perhaps not on eBay due to a zero-feedback history, but it will sell...
