last patent number 1955183 was issued to Ernest A. Hall on April 17, 1934
a balanced valve refacer.  that makes the mfg. date 1934 or later.
he also owned the co. that made it.

For those interested I started a group in yahoo for Hall-Toledo. The reason I did this is because its not real easy to find any useful information on these valve seat grinders. I stumbled across 7 manuals and took many hours of pain staking work to clean these up and make them appear in new condition so they could be read. All these manuals are available at the group page FREE OF CHARGE. I did this as a service to the many people searching the web for manuals and information and how to use these machines. I have been in contact with Andy Boesel at Hall-Toledo and he was very supportive of this page being started. The best thing is I only live about 5 miles from the Hall Toledo Plant and have been invited down for a tour and demonstration.

PLEASE BE KNOWN this is not spam. I am not looking to upset anyone by posting this.

The Hall-Toledo group page is located at... https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/hall-toledo_groupurl/info

Regards,
Jack (Moderator Hall-Toledo group)

For some reason if this information is seen as spam and is removed please be kind I am not meaning any ill intent by posting this just trying to help other guys looking for this kind of information thanks in advance

Hey, people collected Cabbage Patch dolls and Beanie Babies.  These are a lot prettier, and they've got some real history behind them.
