1930's (?) Cornwell Tool Chest
« on: May 22, 2015, 05:22:18 AM »
I'm not sure of the date on this, but it's very heavy, and one of the better built tool chests I own.  Lid closes very square and tight.  Only one very small dent and that's on the rear bottom corner (seam).  Much more solid than any of the 3 old snappy chests I have.  I'm offering this for trade for a USA made "pile 'o ratchets," older Proto items (LA only), Plomb, preferably transition year, or any other interesting items such as tool display boards, advertisements, etc.  NFS for cash, interesting trades only.

I have 9 Proto display boards and a Proto Toolmart to fill so make a good offer.  It appears my pics are too big for upload so they are located here:

I myself am not interested but...

Love the drawer configuration, very nice tool chest.

Also nice f150.
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.

Would you please give a list of what you want to trade for, I don't have any plvmb/proto stuff and only have 1 USA ratchet I'm willing to part with. I kind of would like it My KRA-53 is way too full. Would you part with any of your Snap-On chests? Thanks

Where in PA are you?  I go up to NE PA all the time, we can work out something.  I can part with a snappy but they are pretty old and should be restored.  My wish list is in the wanted section.

I am in north central PA, I don't care about condition I just need something for run over from My box each drawer is stuffed and I just bought a hand box FULL of good tools and don't have a place for them, They need a better home than a rusty hand box. I looked at your list and I only have one thing on there and its one of my daily users, I have a green Exel hand tool box up for trade if your interested its pretty beat up but with some TLC I'm sure you could get it looking like new all. The only real problem is that the latch busted years ago so I beat it open and installed a hasp. PM me if your want to try to work out a deal I may be able to part with a few tools/hand boxes. Also could you give me a couple more things you want so I can keep my eye out for them at markets/yard sales.  Thanks.

Here's what I have for Snappy chests.  First is 26" wide, the second one is very large, and VERY heavy (underline logo) and 31 1/4" wide.  I'd be wanting a "chunk o' tools" for those.  Any old U.S.A. ratchets, old U.S.A. vises, any U.S.A. old tool advertising, old tool catalogs, '70 GTO trim / interior parts, '67 Firebird interior parts, '70 Mustang interior parts, machinist vises, old automobilia.

That should give you a range of "stuff!"

I'd be wanting the first one the 26" one. is it bottom or top? How many ratchets would you want and do you want hand boxes I have a couple up for trade. I have the Exel one, a teal one with no name and a green one with no name I also have some tools I could part with if that's enough but till I get something worked out I'll keep my eyes open for the stuff you want. Thanks

Most anyone that knows me knows I don't sell.  I typically trade for stuff I need to fill sets, or even start new sets.  Just come up with something(s) cool and make an offer.  I gave ya a heck of a list!

Really not overly interested in hand carries, unless it were Bonney.
