Flying Swallow wrenches
« on: January 31, 2016, 10:36:44 PM »
Stopped by one of the local pawn shops yesterday and found four Flying Swallow combo wrenches in the dollar bin.
11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8.
They look nice and have a good finish.  Ordinarily, I would not bring home a Chinese wrench unless it was at the bottom of a bucket purchase, but the name was too quirky to pass up.  They look like good wrenches, actually.
I notice a mention of one here back in 2013 and very little else on the web.
Do any of you fellows know what would constitute a set of these?
And do any of you have any to trade?

Hello I just came across your post a bit late i know but I do have a large set of flying swallow wrenches that were past down to me from my grandfather Its a very large set in a canvas wrap it includes combination spanners metric 8 to 30 and AF 1/4 to 1 1/4 also ring spanners in the same size range metric and AF and also open end spanners in a similar size range including metric and AF as well, it is a fairly old set from around the early 70s at a guess

I hope this is of some help about this brand of tool and how big the sets got

Gosh, I had not thought about those FS wrenches for a long time.
Gave them to a friend who does regular flea markets to help finance mission trips for his church.
And have not seen one since.

Yeah, sorry about the late reply but I just recently dug out this set from a corner of the shed and wondered about the brand and did a bit of research and couldn't find much reviews on them
