Talking Superrenches in general, a long diatribe that has been dealt with for ages on g503.com is about chrome molybdenum versus chrome alloy/alloy time frame, as there is a disagreement on when Chrome Molybdenum Superrenches stopped being maufactured having been superseded by Chrome alloy.
What is your opinion on the matter?

I hadn't thought about it.
According to AA, the steel Williams used in their obstruction wrenches was so dog gone good it basically clinched the market for them. And, judging from the ones I have  - being 60+ years old and still quite useable - corroborates that statement.
