Craftsman 1/4 in. drill
« on: November 29, 2016, 08:36:56 PM »
Today I had reason to stop at the Habitat for Humanity store.  Checked the lamps and fans first but nothing grabbed my eye.  Finally found where they moved the old tools.  Among all the 7 and 9 volt drills was an aluminum body Craftsman.   Older, 40s, maybe early 50s, nice chuck, and very nice overall.  Even the tiny maker tag, (metal) was readable.  Was so tempted to get it for ten dollars.   Trouble is I already have battery, air and corded drills.  Wasn't sure anyone here was hot on them still?   Sure was nice looking though, with the raised Craftsman logo, didn't plug it in but was sure it worked due to condition.

I collect them, but don't know anyone else who does.
