Craftsman circular saw with Chainsaw attachment
« on: March 18, 2017, 09:43:14 AM »
This is on the list to get going with a few other  saws.  The pictures of an old wen saw in another thread reminded me I had it. Very similar handle.  Craftsman 386.27963 6 1/2 inch circular saw with a 336.27905 Chain Saw Attachment.

Looks like it would be awkward to use.

Yep, I should get e better pic of the handle/trigger because the way I figure it you would run the trigger with your pinky .

I was hoping it would work as a beam saw when I got it, but those have a follower to keep the bar from binding and no bucking teeth like this one.

I have no need for something like this, but I would love to have one.
You might say I have a tool collecting problem....

I like the "keep bar liberally oiled".  No oiler, so I think you would have an oil can while you are cutting.

Or you could just bleed on it.

If this were made today, would have to be bigger.  Just to hold all the OSHA warning labels!
