Active Content
« on: December 11, 2017, 12:15:33 PM »
Hello, Is anyone else having trouble with "Active Content" on their ebay listings. This may be old news to some, but I have yet to figure out what I am doing wrong, and what ebay is trying to accomplish. Thanks, lou

Hello, It pops up as a warning from ebay to remove it,on some of my descriptions, something to do with Javascript.  Thanks, Lou

As of last month Ebay has forbidden any active content in your listings.

Not sure what the definition  of "active" is..

I know you can't put a link to a website.  But you can sometimes get around it by just printing the website address and not making it an active link.  If you do just print the website, you won't be able to write "copy and paste" next to it.
