KMC wrenches are made in Asia - all over Asia. I've seen them marked India, Japan, Taiwan and of course China. Some are sold on eBay as being K-Mart brand tools (KMC K-Mart Corp.?). And one pair of pliers for sale new in pkg has a K-Mart price sticker. Is this a fact that KMC were a K-Mart brand or is it just coincidence that they sold a brand with the KMC initials?
I have a set of metric combination wrenches and they have been very good - except for the 10mm, which is the most used size for me. The box end 12 pt teeth are good but recessed too far into the ring, making them slip off in some applications. I stopped using them at work but still use them at home - but I think I'll dump that 10mm. I don't remember where they were made but not China - either Taiwan or Japan.
This wrench from eBay is allegedly made in Japan
