You wouldn't happen to have an extra 3/8 pebble combo would you?

What size large combos are you missing?

Mike

I need 13/16 and everything above 1".  Otherwise I have all of them including the 3/8" and 5/16".

This will be the last display for a while (probably). I don't plan on any others till I finish my Plomb pebble combo set. Of course something in my workshop could catch my eye. The Stanley chisels were a spontaneous project. This is an Artisan/S-K ratchet and socket set I assembled. My grandfather had this set but my brother (retirement planner with little interest in tools) inherited them.

Hank, I’m pretty sure I have a 1 1/16 in. one. It’s in my motor home so will be a few days before I can check.

Hank
Where did you get the clips holding the wrenches?

Which board are you talking about?  The open and combo wrenches are held on with simple L-hooks I bought at the hardware store.

For some reason I could not send the pics on a pm so I'll try it here
One pic shows my set which has 9 different sizes ( not 8 like I had said ) and the other picture shows the 2 that I could send you, unfortunately I don"t have a spare 5/8x9/16.The two I can send are the 1x15/16 and a 1/2x 7/16.
It looks to me that I might be missing one size probably a 3/8x5/16.This is just a quess by looking at the lengths that get progesivly shorter as the sizes decrease
Here is a page from the ‘43 Barcalo Catalog.

Thanks Don. Iv'e been looking for that info without any luck for a long time. Unfortunately the sizes are not very clear, The one I'm not sure of is the second to last ,the 26-731C. Could you possibly have a look and let me know what the sizes are. If you or anyone wants to do some trading of this pattern I have several duplicates. I know now that I'm missing the 26-725  7/16" x1/2" and the 26-731C whatever size that may be. Jim.

My first thought was 3/4 x 15/16 but that just dosn't make sense to my way of thinking. 3/4 x 11/16 sounds more logical

As illogical as it seems, I believe that size is 3/4” x 15/16”. The second half of the part number is supposed to correspond to the Industry Standard Number, as far as I can tell, and I don’t see a 731C in Alloy Artifact’s chart. I have some Double Grip DOE wrenches but I’m not sure of the sizes and I’m not where they are at the moment.

Just to muddy the waters a bit more, here is a listing from 1941 that shows some different sizes.

Like you say it's getting a little muddy. I'm going to have another look at my wrenches, I think I have some of the same sizes but the script is on the the opposite face of the wrench, maybe from different production years or whatever?????? Thanks again for the info. where the heck did you find those? Jim.
