Followed me home
« on: May 12, 2018, 12:03:45 PM »
These wrenchs followed me home from auction yesterday. Some are duplicates but most will reside in my basement.
The Whitehead made on the Jackson patent was a welcome addition.
The 5 seat Austrian bicycle brought $1100.

Jim, Is there a name on the quick adjust pipe wrench? It resembles some of the Irlands I’ve had, but they all had round handles.

Sorry Mike, I can't find that wrench. I know its here somewhere but can't locate it. If it turns up I'll let you know.

Besides the cool factor, is there some benefit to the S-shaped "crescent" wrenches?

Nice get.

Leverage? Getting into tight spaces where a straight handle would not work?? Just my 2 cents. Regards, Lou

Once while working on a toilet, I couldn't get a good turn on the feed line to the tank until I used a B & C curved handle adjustable.

I had the same thing with a water heater line.
