New to me wrench
« on: June 02, 2018, 03:54:55 PM »
I stopped at a garage sale earlier today and bought a box with quite a few tools in it, mostly poor quality stuff but what caught my eye was fairly short adjustable wrench. It is marked J L Taylor pipe & nut wrench, Pat Dec 1 1891 C.H. Redmond and Co  sole mfgs  Newark NJ.I've never seen one of these before so I had to have it.
I can't seem to get a picture attached to this post so I'll try again later when I can get some help.
You can see it on DATAMP by entering the Pat date.
Does anybody know if these are a common item???

They were consolidated under H. Boker & Co. in 1920.
