Blackhawk wrench
« on: July 13, 2018, 08:12:37 PM »
Just could not resist painting this wrench.  I don't collect farm wrenches, but knowing this wrench was in a box of mechanics wrenches made me bid up the box lot to $10.00.  It was rusty, didn't look like much so I bead blasted it and then painted it orange as it was originally under the rust.  Not quite so bright of orange.  Plan to put it in a frame and hang it in the shop.

There you go, now you started another collection Agriculture Cutout Wrenches. Careful that can be an expensive slippery slope.

Especially when you get to the large JD/Dain wrench
A person who could really read human minds would be privileged to gaze on some correct imitations of chaos.

Have no fear, cutout wrenches are not on my list.  Few years ago I had about 50 farm wrenches, sold them to a fellow mvwc member for 25 cents each.  He planed to make wrench art out of them.
