Atkins Time Book

Hello, I found this at the flea. I can't seem to find a print, or, copyright date. There is a Table of Wages for Carpenters, the low end of the scale at $.25 per hour, and the high end at $.55 per hour. Regards, Lou

A neat find . I would have had to have it if it wandered into my path. I can remember 19cent gasoline but dont remember 25cent carpenter wages. Wonder if a 25 cent per hour carpenter did less work than a $30 an hour carepenter. Somehow I doubt it but now a days everything that that required skill is done by some electric gadget.

Disston made that gooseneck nested saw, as well.
Mine has flat-top domed nuts and a Disston blade.  No. 3, I believe, for pruning.
