Stirrup Adze
« on: March 27, 2019, 04:21:42 PM »

Now & again I see these for sale here in southern Spain but the vendors usually want too much for them, well last weekend was my lucky day when I picked this one up for a more reasonable price albeit with it's wedge missing, a little whittling soon sorted that out.

Thought you might like to see it, a Spanish made Bellota 8104.

Very nice, first one of that brand I have ever seen. That type of handle looks comfortable in comparison to a strait round one.

It's interesting: those seem to be more common in Spain and Portugal than other places.  That's a nice one indeed.
