Christmas presents
« on: December 26, 2019, 12:40:38 PM »
I've seen lots of chatter about Christmas presents you folks--and those on various facebook sites--got this year.
But what tools did you give?
I gave #1 grandson a gold plated 8" helix adjustable wrench made (formerly) just down the road in El Dorado, Ks.
One son got a 1935-36 1/4" Snap-on Midget set with extra ratchet.
The other got a Craftsman 3/8" BE ratchet set.  (I had to cheat and put in a New Britain extension, but the knurling matches.  In fact, they were likely made at the same factory)
The ORIGINAL Northwoods.

I supplied my son with some blacksmith tools, and Lazy Ass Forge sent him a box of coal and a nail header !

It used to be a bad thing when you got a lump of coal for Christmas.
He looks happy.
