The pliers with the 2 "side cutters? still don't know.The dud is a can opener, oh well so much for it being interesting!

Thanks WVT!There are 2 of them. What is the "awl" like part for?
I've been busy with cistern prblems, no fun!
"Dynamite" type explosive in a tube -- poke a hole down the center of the explosive, insert detonator cap that has been crimped on to end of a piece of fuse, or is attached to wires from one of those "push down the handle to generate an electrical charge" devices -- then do what you have to do to be  a safe distance away when the explosive is set off.  Need to make a hole for the detonator because you don't want to accidentally cause the detonator to go off when you are in the immediate vicinity.

These were soaked in phosphoric acid solution for a couple of days. Then clear coated.The 2 side cutters look similar, center jaws are flat.
