F in a circle twisty wrench
« on: April 29, 2020, 09:43:59 PM »
Does this one look familiar to anyone? Not having much luck tracking down it's original use.

Also, Hi everyone! I've been off line for way too long. :-)

Searching for the numbers on the wrench I stumbled onto this:
It's an auction page (I think) of IHC wrenches.
"D: 326A6 open end with spanner, the spanner can be used on early HD flathead push rod tubes."

How can a " flathead" have a push rod tube?
Push rods are for OHV
Unless it's for the fuel pump push rod?
Of all the things I've lost , I miss my mind the most

That wrench is real close, mine has a bit more bend in it but it's obviously for the same application, thanks for that!
Now to figure out the F in a circle foundry mark.

You may be looking for a forging outfit rather than a casting place.

Not positive but it may be this co. Federal Drop Forge Co., Lansing, Mich.
