Rex patent wrench
« on: August 10, 2020, 08:58:11 AM »
We discussed this little 4 1/2" slide lock wrench before. The last picture is from the patent data. Slide lock pipe wrench probably made by The Rex Wrench Co. of Auburn , NY. from patent # 521130. Patented by Charles Van De Water on June 5, 1894. This example is not marked. Similar to Schulz # 716

Hello, Papaw. Thanks for posting, that is a cool little wrench!! Were there other sizes? Auburn, NY. is about 30 miles west of where I live, and even closer to where amecks is located!1 Regards, Lou
