Concerns for our Southern members
« on: February 17, 2021, 06:15:08 PM »
Just a open message to our Southern members suffering through the unusual weather conditions and power outages. I hope all of you make it through the war and are spared the worst of the damages.

Here at our house in Alvin, Texas , we are doing better than many. Have not lost power at all. We do have a broken water line that will be worked on tomorrow. We shut off the water at the main until we can assess the damage and repair it.

Gas stove and heater still work and we are warm enough.

Power was out for 18 hours, but it didn't impact me because we have a generator.  Almost everyone in Houston is under a boil water notice for at least 5 days.
