I sure hope that one of us can win this. It would be the oldest C-man hand tool catalog yet.

Eddie, what year is JH Williams cat #305?

I think the 300 series is the fullsize catalog and the 500 series is the small size. I think AA lists the 505 as a 1963 so, the 305 should also be 1963

Thanks Eddie, that is about what I had guessed. I could not find any date markings or code anywhere. I'll post it as soon as I can scan and shrink it.

The second-oldest, John; we already have 1940 & 1942 available.

...the 305 should also be 1963

That's what my notes say, but I don't remember where I got the information...

John, I thought I had uploaded it and was amazed to go to mediafire and not find it there...

Then I remembered where I got it!

Thanks LG, I never cease to marvel at what Tooltalk comes up with. Gibsontool will have the 41 cat shipped to me, I'll scan it and post it to p-bucket then you can convert it to a pdf and post it. Now we need some of the old big books tool pages from the late 20's and 30's. I know that RVS in Canada has a few on CD. It's on my list. Thanks again.

Papaw, could we have a sticky at the top of the Catalog forum for all of the links to the various tool catalog pdf's? Maybe Child boards by brand?
