I have two wrenches that are clearly stamped with numbers on one side but if you flip them over the large one ( which is a # 5 ) clearly shows a reverse 5, also I should note that the numbers are always reccessed but the reverse number is popping out, as if they punched the wrench so hard when pressing the number that it went all the way thru to the other side but I know that is not an option because the wrenches are way to heavy of a steel.
What might this indicate? What sort of hints to the stamping process should I be picking up here but am just not seasoned enough to be seeing.
The other wrench is clearly marked a # 1 on one side but when flipped over you can see fainly a # 2 popping up and over that # 2 in the center is a reverse one.
I know the pict. suck its not my fault
