carver clamp

not a vintage tool sorry,,but i just had to show this clamp that i picked up,weighs in at around 12 kilo,s and measures almost 2 foot long.

Thats an unusual looking slip notch clamping mechanism, (for lack of a better term). Never seen one like it before.

At least, the big ones are rated 10,000 pounds!

Doesn't seem at all like my bent-up chinese c-clamps - P
