I'm in a picture mood today. I didn't say 'good' pictures, but if you use your imagination you can see what's there. I had the deal all set for $7 dollars and then one of the other workers stuck his nose in and mentioned $10. The whole situation got awkward and these guys have treated me more than good, so I was happy to pay the 10 bucks and I know they'll make it up on another trip.
Too lazy to bust 'em out but you can see a couple of Proto Professional dbe obstruction wrenches, buried but barely visible are some old Bonney flare nut crowfoot wrenches, a big handful of assorted USA sockets and a big Ktool half drive big guy, a Proto pebble flare, a couple of rubber coated punches of unknown make, a Fuller USA stubby screwdriver, and a couple of mint condition metric Action combos for you know who if he's interested. All in all a pretty good haul, but I'd rather have paid $7. The guy that jacked my deal must have felt bad because he came out to the parking lot and told me he'd make it up to me next time. I have no complaint though, these guys have been very good to me.
At another sale, I again over paid but got the Kennedy box shown here without a speck of rust on it, tray inside and the tools shown on top for a total of $30. Call me cheap, but I'm used to doing better than that. This sale was by an older guy looking to retire, so in this case I had no problem contributing to his retirement fund. Still a good score IMO. I got a little closer to a full set of Kline USA drivers and a couple of nice Plomb pieces including the Plomb pry bar in front there. It's hard to tell but that big wrench in back is a 30mm Easco teardrop style, my collection of those grows.
