Grandsons & Guns
« on: June 24, 2012, 04:52:51 PM »
Well I've had two grandsons over for a couple of days,  so to make things interesting we had a weapons lesson and shoot today.
Filled a bunch of milk jugs and went at them with a Winchester Mod.12 (12 Ga.)  and a Colt 1911 45cal. (only loaded 1 round in the magazine at a time).
They were really impressed with the difference between the 45 rounds,   hollow points vs. FMJ.

On the 12Ga.  I started them out on light low brass and worked up to slugs!   They noticed the difference ;-)

Boys and guns are fun !!!

When my daddy and grandpa taught me about guns, I was to young to hold up a 22 single shot and learned to shoot in the prone position.
