Wire handle tack hammer

I like it! I have never seen one anything like it. Unusual head design as well.

I would say that the handle was a home built solution to a broken wood one.  People used to make due with the solutions at hand.   Think of the time spent vs just going to town to buy a handle or a new hammer.

I really like it.

Don't think it ever had a wooden handle, as the head design accommodates the wire (two small openings).  Sure was built to last!

Kinda looks like it was made by a company that notmally made fly swatters....

I bet it does a bang up job of killing flies....
Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.
