Pittsburgh, PA has(or used to have) an Iron City Brewing Co. that made pretty good beer.  This isn't much, but it's the best I can do.

This is a coincidence -- yesterday I put a new hickory handle on the 6# Iron City sledge I picked up recently.  It looked good, and they only wanted $3 for it, so it came home. 

Iron City Tool Works is a venerable company, founded by German immigrants in 1854, in Pittsburg, the Iron City (that gave its name to the beer, too).
They produced blacksmith tools, hammers, hoes, picks, rail road tools, and vises.  Warren Tool Corp bought Iron City in 1958, and apparently retained the Iron City name.

I think I have a couple more Iron City tools, blacksmith stuff.  Good tools.

Branson hit it right on the head! That was my understanding as well on their lineage.

I have a 4" post vise made by Iron City, and an 8 lb. sledge from them as well. The name usually commands a premium on internet auction sites, and at blacksmith conferences, in my limited experience.

They made very good tools according to what I have gathered.

I have a 12 pound Iron City sledge hammer that is shaped just like a 3 to 5 pound blacksmith's cross peen hammer.  As keykeeper mentioned, they made really good tools.  The logo is typically a 5 pointed star with Iron City inside of it.

I have an Iron City farm tool (my Dad called it a "grub hoe") but the logo is a six point start with IRON CITY stamped inside; it belonged to my grandfather who was a German immigrant.

Well, the master smith from whom I apprentice has a 4" Iron City leg vise... It is the most mangled leg vise I have ever seen. I don't know if it was poorly made, or massively abused. He got it that way, and fixed it up a bit.

That being said, I have a 5lb mini-sledge with a 6 pointed star on it which may be Iron City, not sure, but it's a great hammer I inherited from my grandfather.
