M.B.Skinner Co
« on: June 28, 2011, 06:35:55 PM »

A year or so ago i had found a wrench marked M.B. Skinner. After poking around a bit, I figured out it was likely for a pipe patch clamp they made. The clamp had a patent, which explained a bit.

Towards the end of last year I found an actual clamp, lost in the trunk of my car until today when I went looking for something else....

Patented in 1927....still has shiny green paint, and rubber gasket.

Now...if only i could remember where I put the wrench/

Just a weathered light rust/WD40 mix patina.

Was the wrench special in style or configuration, or just branded M.B. Skinner?

I have a Skinner Seal No.1 T-wrench in the to-be-melted down pile.  It's yours, if you want it. PM to make arrangement
