I just sold a set that also included 3/8 set. More complete and the box was better. Sold in 4 hours.
Unusual to find sets and boxes together.

What did your set fetch, Roy?

$165 plus shipping. Sold to a past customer who has become a friend.
Very glad to see him get it.
His reasoning was , it would take him years of searching to duplicate it.
Neither of us wanted to see the set broken up after being together since the '40's
He was very pleased with it , and I see he got a good price, but we were both happy with the transaction.
I find nice condition early Craftsman tools easier to sell than any other brand.
I was lucky to find it at a price I could afford to resell it.

I think I have all that stuff all over my garage. I think I even have that box. I just started putting all my chain saw stuff  in it. I may have to reconsider this.

The ad is still posted on here. I posted it here and on GJ , sold it off of GJ right after I posted it.
Not sure why there were no comments here .

You had a very nice set too, Roy, but they're not the same. The eBay ad eddie posted is for C-Series Craftsman, while yours seem to be H-Circle and BE. The C-Series is quite rare, pre-dates H-Circle/BE and was made by Snap-on!

Thanks for the education. I wasn't trying to imply the set I had was better , only that there was a market for it.
I'm sure the Ebay set will find a new owner.  The older Craftsman stuff is becoming collectable, and
that is the point I was trying to make.
Seems it's hard to find sets in the boxes that haven't been broken up.
Someone would have to look a long time to assemble that set.
Good luck Eddie!

If they were mine, they wouldn't be for sale.

LG, who claims they were made by S-O?

AA. Pretty compelling case too...

The info at the link above is, I believe, fairly new (as I have never seen it before), but there had already been examples - primarily those unique ratchets - suggesting Snap-on was the manufacturer...
