The " Craftsman" script looks weird , but I never saw one of those up close.
Has to be worth $1.25.

Here's a set of 1/2" - 3/8" - 1/4" ratchets.  Craftsman to be true.  Probably made in the 80's with no COO.

If the ratchet is something of your interest I could most likely help you out.  I think I have at least the 3/8" and 1/4" drive.  Will need to verify.

I don't need one. I bid just to see what was going to happen. I am always wary of early automatic bids- to me it stinks of shill bidders.

That's my guess as well. I have a 1/4" Tri-Wing as well as a 2002 Husky. Same guts, made by Stanley.
