I ran across a 1/2" drive socket the other day that has me baffled. It has the number "222" and then an oval with two asymmetrical "W's" that if you stare at them long enough, start looking like female anatomy. Then the "11/16" for the size(never mind that the PO welded in and allen head for his "special purpose"). I was thinking it might be a modern Walden Wooster, but they haven't been around in a long time, so there goes my stab at guessing. The socket in question is a single. It will likely be something really obvious once our panel of gurus get a hold of it.

I think that's a "Hooters" socket.

lol, I've assumed that they were Waldens.

If I'd JUST looked top to bottom on AA's logo list, I coulda answered my own quwestion. I started at the bottom and went up through the W's and saw nothing and posted the ?? Now I go bottom to top and find that this is aStevens Walden socket despite, the factthat the SW Stevens Walden logo is right above it. I'd love to know why they changed from one to the other, and which came first........Thanks all
